On My Mind Today:
Mom's birthday. She would have been 70 years old today. . Of course I still miss her, and dream about her once in a while, and wish I could pick up the phone and call her. Even with her awful final months, most of my memories are good ones. When I think of her, I smile. .
Happy birthday to your Mom, Brian. And most of all, thank you so much for sharing her with all of us through your book. Your story has inspired and will continue to inspire a lot.
Beautiful at all stages and in all media.

Lucky Brian, lucky Mom...I'd say "she'd be so proud of you," but clearly, she already was.
She was the most amazing person I (n)ever met. So glad I had the opportunity to have contact with her. God bless the internet.
ReplyDeleteShe truly was beautiful at every stage of her life.
Thank you for choosing to share her with us. She's affected more people than she could possibly have imagined.
This was a lovely post. I think you got your smile from her. That's a compliment.
